Alexandra Oana Chiș

Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist

I am Alexandra Oana Chiș, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. My journey is twofold: on one hand, I have studied intensively for years, accumulating scientific knowledge and validated tools to support my work. On the other hand, my personal life has been a true "school of resilience" — I have gone through trials that pushed me to my limits.

I have lived through moments of despair, when I felt there was no hope left. And yet, I discovered that it is precisely from darkness that the greatest inner resources can be born. I discovered that the right support, found at the right time, can make the difference between collapse and rebirth.

I know how painful it is to seek help and face disappointments — to meet "specialists" who don't truly listen and who make you feel even more alone. That's exactly why I promise myself, day by day, never to become such a professional. I choose not to compromise my soul and to give my best to every person who chooses to work with me.

In my work I have encountered complex cases, some of them considered challenging even by other professionals. I didn't shy away from them. I saw them as opportunities to learn and to be close to people in their darkest moments, because I knew that as long as there is a real desire to be helped, there is also a chance for change.

My mission is clear: I am here for you.

When you are scared or hurt, when the pain is so great that you feel you can't breathe, when it's your turn to have the worst day of your life, I am here to be the first to help you. I am here to stand between you and chaos. This is my purpose in life.

Approach

  • I offer a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental space, where each person can feel heard and understood.
  • The therapeutic relationship is based on mutual respect, trust and collaboration.
  • My approach is based on the principles of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (CBT), but the intervention is flexible and adapted to the needs of each client.
  • In the therapeutic process, we are partners — we work together, at a comfortable pace, without positions of superiority or judgment.
  • I emphasize self-knowledge and the development of personal resources, so that change is lasting and authentic.
  • I consider therapy an active process, in which we explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors, gradually building inner balance, a functional life and the resources necessary to face relapses or other future difficulties.
